My iphone is locked to one network can I use it abroad with a foreign sim card? Yes you can but first you will need to unlock the phone to take another networks sim card. This can be done by either a hardware unlock or a software unlock depending on which version of the iphone you own. ,I want to unlock the phone so what is the next step? Go to www.iphoneunlocking.co.uk and watch the step by step tutorial on the website which shows you how you can identify which version of iphone you own.
What is the procedure to unlock my iphone? Once you have established which iphone you have you will see that one of 3 unlock methods will apply to you. If you have a software or hardware unlock required then you will be able to do, as long as you have an up to date and comprehensive guide. If it is a testpoint unlock that is required we advise you do not attempt this as it is a very complex unlock and should only be attempted by unlocking professionals
Who should I go to for an iphone unlock solution? There are many bogus operators selling ebooks and they have no knowledge on how to unlock or repair the iphone. There is only one stand out website and that is www.iphoneunlocking.co.uk this site is run by phonezone who are nokia and samsung service centre. They are experts in the field and they can always be contacted on the telephone at their business address. The website is by far the best in the world and the tutorials are second to none. The iphone is too expensive and good a phone to risk with a dangerous ebook solution.,How repairs iphones? If you have a broken iphone then send it to iphone unlocking and they will be able to assess if your handset is repairable.,If you want to go to the iphone unlocking website click this link..................

Yes and no. The phone is a quad-band GSM phone which means it will operate on cellular networks in most countries including South Africa, but the problem is that the iPhone will only work with AT&T (formerly Cingular). If you are just going to South Africa for a few days, you can use your iPhone there but will have to pay international roaming charges to AT&T. If you are moving back there permanently, you will not at the present time be able to use the iPhone with an international cell phone carrier. You should contact AT&T (www.cingular.com) for details on their international roaming plans and coverage.

Not now, but will be 3 to 6 months later.
Iphone will be only available in USA next June 29 with AT&T carrier.
iPhone first sales in Europe will start fourth quarter of this year and Apple is looking for the official carrier for Europe.

Vodafone, Orange and O2 owner Telefonica, have been competing for the right to sell the Iphone in Europe, but according to recent rumors, T-Mobile may become the iPhone’s official carrier for Europe.
